A progressive university reputed for its student experience

The University of Dundee works to transform lives locally and globally through the creation, sharing and application of knowledge. It is a research-intensive university that offers Gold standard teaching and a student experience that is consistently ranked among the best in the United Kingdom.

An international university with a distinctly Scottish identity, it currently has 17,000 students and 3,000 members of staff. Over 145 countries are represented on campus.

However, it’s not just prospective students who are attracted by the city and university. Dundee is the UK’s first UNESCO City of Design, and its vibrant £1billion Waterfront Project is transforming the city and attracting business investment and professionals. In the long-term, this is likely to strengthen links with industry – which can only be positive for workplace learning.
