Latest InPlace release 5.3

The InPlace team is excited to share details of the upcoming feature release InPlace version 5.3. This latest upgrade will be released to client Sandbox and Production sites in December 2021 and January 2022.

Some highlight features include:

Merge Agency Duplicates

Despite system users’ best intentions keeping clean records can be challenging, especially when managing placements at an enterprise level across multiple schools and faculties. It is inevitable that duplicate records might be created. The new Agency Merge functionality offers the ability to merge duplicate agencies. The merge encompasses not only agency standard details, but it also offers much more such as associated placement history, and agency personnel. Resulting in clean and pristine agency records. InPlace in system notifications will periodically notify of potential duplicate records for merge.

Supervisor Allocation licensed feature

Managing lists of Staff Supervisors or Instructors and their assignments to student placements just got easier. Import and manage lists with criteria for allocation to enable fast and fairer allocation.

Additional Features

  • Fair placement distribution of placements for agencies. Introducing a new allocation method that can be used in combination with rules best fit, to ensure a fairer distribution of students are allocated to available placements to maximise your agency partnerships.
  • Enhanced Log Book notifications and tracking
  • A series of usability improvements for Staff and Students portals.

Also in this release, InSight Survey and Assessment 3.1 is headlined by a series of new competency and skill-based reporting 1 enhancements to capture and analyse grading and scoring, also in this release, Feedback Reports on student feedback of agencies that students undertake placements, greater response management, and notification functionality.
