Client Spotlight: RISE is a programme available to all students at the Manchester Metropolitan University. It enables them to ‘over-credit’ their degrees with additional units based on engagement with employment, enhancing extra-curricular experience.
InPlace has been a significant contributor to this program. The InPlace Self Placement functionality provides all Students an interface to record their RISE Placements and provides the University a central point to review and support Students on RISE Placements.
The RISE Programme has consistently doubled its engagement target: from a pilot of 600 students, growing to 2,500 and then 5,000 students each year of the pandemic.
