It’s official – QuantumIT and InPlace’s new offices in Drummond Street Carlton have been formally opened by the Minister for Small Business, Trade and Innovation, Philip Dalidakis.
The 6th Australian User Group was hosted by RMIT at their Melbourne campus July 16 ‐ 17, 2015 and featured representatives from InPlace’s 17 Australian based clients which comprised over 100 attendees.
The inaugural UK User Group Meeting was hosted by King’s College, London on 29-30 January.
Representatives from King’s College London, University of Ulster, Nottingham Trent University, University of St Mark and St John, University of Hull and Queens University Belfast and four Quantum staff attended the day and a half event.
The 4th Australian InPlace User Group was held at the Deakin city campus in Melbourne on the 26-27th of November 2013.
The User Group was once again a fantastic opportunity for Australian
users of InPlace to meet and discuss all things InPlace to ultimately learn
more about the product, the direction it is taking and extract lessons from
their peers undertaking similar processes in their Schools and Faculties.
Professor Ieuan Ellis, Dean Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at Leeds Metropolitan University, presented a case study on how Leeds Met have reshaped placement management for the Yorkshire and Humber Health district.

On the 14th and 15th of November InPlace held its second user group which was joint hosted by Deakin and La Trobe University, in the lofty surrounds of the Deakin University corporate offices on Bourke St, Melbourne CBD.
Oracle Australia through their PeopleSoft Campus Solutions cite InPlace in tenders as a partner and the preferred provider for delivering the functionality required for managing student placements and integrating work experience into the student curriculum.
