March 2015: Deployment News – KCL University wide, Private Health Provider, UNE & RMIT

Kings College London (KCL) – university-wide rollout commences

KCL is 16th in the World QS University rankings and has been using InPlace for almost three years to manage placements in the world’s oldest and possibly most prestigious Nursing School – the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery. The successful program led to an internal review of placement processes and InPlace was selected as the University-wide solution for all integrated learning placements. The enterprise rollout is being managed by a university team with specialist consulting support from the InPlace UK team.

Private Health Provider, Australia Wide

InPlace Network (InPlace’s sister product for placement providers) has successfully completed phase 1 of deployment and is now in use at 4 major Victorian hospitals. Phase 2 of the rollout will encompass the remaining 40 hospitals in one of Australia’s largest and fastest growing private health provider. InPlace Network syncs out of the box with InPlace to interact in real time with educators on requests, placement details, student details, supervisors, rosters etc to create the ideal ecosystem for placement management.

University New England – two more schools on board after initial rollout completed

Following a successful deployment into the School of Education, the University of New England is extending the rollout to two schools within the Faculty of Health.

RMIT – Project milestone celebration

RMIT has been deploying InPlace in a massive program covering 26 Schools and over 70,000 students for the past 14 months. A wide range of placement models include collaborative student projects (fashion and architecture), internships, opportunity-based programs, clinical placements in health, student teacher assignments and more.

The project was described as noteworthy for the enthusiastic acceptance by a large and diverse business user community, receiving no business resistance or student participation issues – expectations of a busy helpdesk during the rollout were quickly dispelled with almost no calls being received from the thousands of participating students and staff. The university rollout is almost complete with International campuses and Vocational Education still to come.
